Missing Children
There are children missing every day. Missing children are found every day. But sometimes missing children are not fond. However, the children missing have to be found. We all have to take just a little time and effort out of our days to assist in the process of getting those missing children found. The children missing deserve at least a few moments of our time in order to add to a safe return. There are many different stories in which the children missing become missing children. Nevertheless, the pain that surrounds all the children missing seems to be the exact same. Out of all the children missing, the family and loved ones of each one of those missing children seem to be in devastation. Families never seem to be the same until that child has been found and has been brought home. In the cases where the children missing do not return, some can never find peace. The Amber Alert
This year marks the 14th year that the Amber Alert program has been put into effect. The Amber Alert gets its name from the inspiration for the Amber Alert program Amber Hagerman. Amber Hagerman was a young girl that was only ten years old when she had been riding her bicycle in Arlington, Texas on the day she was kidnapped. The ten year old Amber Hagerman was kidnapped, then brutally married. There was a huge community outreach that resulted as a result of her kidnapping. Family and friends swarmed the neighborhood in search for Amber Hagerman. From there, the local disc jockeys even got involved in broadcasting around the region the disappearance of Amber Hagerman. The movement that they undertook inspired the Amber Alert program that we have come to know and appreciate today. The spread of Amber’s disappearance through the different broadcast mediums inspired for these efforts to be executed on a state level, and eventually, a national level. 1. Kidnapped Children
Although the abduction of a child by a family member seems to rain supreme in a huge number of cases, many of times, one can argue that these are still kidnapped children. The fact that they kidnapped the child to begin with shows that they at least do not abide by the law because they were not given the legal authority to take that child, even if they are family. Then there are some kidnapped children that have been abducted by a family member that is known to be dangerous. There are also kidnapped children that have been abducted by a stranger who wants to keep them and raise them as their own child. This seems to be a rather common scenario more so than in the past.
