Child Abductions
Child abductions has seemed to take an equally as corrupt discouraging turn over the last few years. Child abductions has morphed into one of the most horrific twists that there is. Some of the child abductions have reportedly been the result of child prostitution. There are several child abductions to date that are the result of a child pimp taking the missing child so that they can take on child prostitution. In fact, in October 2009, the FBI had announced that they have made 60 arrests of pimps that were accused of committing these horrible child abductions. In all the missing child cases that were associated with the child prostitution crackdown, there were 690 arrested in connection to these missing child cases. The missing child prostitution arrests took place over the course of three days as the FBI took focus on a state and federal level to deal with these type of child abductions.
1. These type of prostitution missing child cases continues to be a growing problem for the nation. These missing child prostitution arrests were made all over the nation. Unfortunately, this is something that the entire nation seems to be facing. There were a total of 36 cities as to where these arrests took place in connection to the missing child prostitution cases. This is why the FBI felt it was important to take the initiative to start cracking down on these operations. There were 30 FBI divisions from all over the nation that took part in these child abductions prostitution cases. One at a time, these child abductions will be discovered, and arrests will be made in these missing child cases. The FBI arrests in connection to these child abductions are only going to be a foreshadowing on the crackdown on these horrible operations.
2. Although the story surrounding these child abductions may be quite appalling to hear, fortunately, there is a bright side to the nature of these missing child cases in the end. In addition to the 590 arrests that were made in the missing child prostitution cases, there were 500 convictions that were made. Additionally, there is more of an upside that contributes to this story. It was reported that there were nearly 900 children that were discovered that were missing as a result of the initiative that had been taken by the FBI. This has been initiative that has been taken by the FBI in conjunction with the Department of Justice Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children since the year 2003. Their focus is to crack down on the growing problem of the child abduction, turned child prostitution debacle that is currently at bay. Since then, their triumphant fight rages on.
